Historic Residence Renovation
Elmhurst, IL
Challenge: Remodel a landmark mansion designed by a renowned DuPage County architect, preserving its rich historic character—like the wooden cathedral ceilings—while bringing in the comfort, functionality, and aesthetics of a modern luxury home.
Solution: We worked closely with the homeowner and her interior designer to renovate every corner of the house. The transformation included three fully remodeled bathrooms and the addition of a brand-new fourth bathroom, a stunning marble fireplace, custom imported tile in herringbone patterns throughout, radiant-heated flooring in the basement, and modern lighting fixtures imported from overseas. The kitchen and mudroom were fully redesigned with elegance and practicality in mind, and the outdoor patio received a striking checker-style paving installation.
Result: A breathtaking fusion of historic charm and contemporary luxury. The homeowner now enjoys a one-of-a-kind living space that honors its architectural heritage while offering the comfort and style of modern design. This was truly a magazine-worthy transformation—and a dream project for the Aros Remodeling team.
Spa- inspired Master Bathroom

Challenge: The client, a wellness entrepreneur, had a spacious master bathroom that hadn’t been functional or updated in over a decade. He dreamed of transforming it into a personal sanctuary—where relaxation, therapy, and modern luxury could coexist in harmony.
Solution: We collaborated closely with him to design a spa-like retreat that blended comfort, technology, and style. We built an oversized walk-in shower with a built-in bench, therapeutic body jets, and chromotherapy lighting. Heated floors, luxury floor-to-ceiling tilework, a cathedral ceiling detail, and a deep jacuzzi tub with a smart TV turned the room into a holistic escape. The double vanity offered ample storage and a sleek finish to complete the experience.
Result: The result is a breathtaking, high-end in-home spa—custom-designed for daily relaxation and wellness. This once-forgotten space is now a beautiful, functional retreat where the entire family can recharge and unwind.

Challenge: A young couple, expecting their first baby, wanted to transform their outdated bathroom into a peaceful, elegant retreat inside their modern condo in Irving Park. Their vision was to blend sleek contemporary finishes with warm, timeless touches.
Solution: We designed a sophisticated space using matte white ceramic tile for a clean, spacious feel. Antique gold accents — in fixtures, hardware, and décor — brought just the right amount of warmth and luxury. Every detail was curated to create a calming environment that matched their lifestyle and this special new chapter.
